TR Woman Killed In Accident

A Sunday afternoon head on crash claimed the life of a Travelers Rest woman. The accident happened near the intersection of Old White Horse Road and McElhaney Road when a 2017 Kia was traveling south and drifted across the center line. The Kia collided with a pickup truck head on.

The driver of the Kia died at the scene and was identified as Mesha Rosalind Miller, 49 of Travelers Rest.

The driver of the truck and a passenger were transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown.

The accident happened around 12 noon Sunday, May 29th.
