Fourth Traffic Fatality Within One Week In TR And Marietta
A motorcyclist was killed on Wednesday in Travelers Rest. The accident happened on North Poinsett at the intersection with Tubbs Mountain Road. This marked the fourth traffic death within seven days in the Marietta and Travelers Rest areas of northern Greenville County. The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the motorcyclist as 27 year old Charles Forest Taylor. Taylor was traveling on North Poinsett Highway when his motorcycle and a sports utility vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Travelers Rest police officers, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol as well as the Travelers Rest Fire Department responded to the accident.
